Terroirs and vinification
The “street in the port” climate is located exactly on the Pommard alluvial fan, with rich soils composed of clay and limestone, well drained thanks to gravel and rocky debris. The earth is in places reddened by iron oxide. The vines benefit from sun exposure all morning. The Pommard appellation is located between 250 and 330 meters above sea level.
On vines aged 70 years on average worked in Reasoned Agriculture, these are very low yields around 20 hl / ha.
Food and wine pairing
Thanks to solid and dense tannins, the wines of Pommard go perfectly with wild meats, whether it is game birds or feathers, grilled, roasted or braised, beef, lamb or poultry. . The association with cheeses will also be assured with Burgundian cheeses such as Epoisses, Langres or Comté.

A deep red color with light mauve reflections.
Aromas of small red and black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, plum, redcurrant) and powerful aromas which evolve over time towards wild notes of leather and game, or chocolate and pepper.
This wine needs time to fully open and present itself in its best light: roundness, structure, fruitiness, richness and tannins for a balanced and solid wine.
