Terroirs and vinification
Limestone marl soils, vineyards at an altitude of nearly 260 m with ideal exposure all morning between east and south.
The vines are on average 50 years old.
Blending of plots as close as possible to the heart of the Meursault appellation between Meix Chavaux, Murgers and Monthelie. Aging in wood for 1 year, with 20% new barrels to take advantage of the structure provided by the wood and not the aromas that would mask the wine itself
Food and wine pairing
Such power allows it to balance itself against dishes made with noble meat or fish. Its freshness and aromatic persistence also allow it to hold its own against grilled crustaceans, foie gras or even expressive cheeses such as blue ones.
Keeping and serving temperature
To serve between 12 and 14 °.
Keeping: 5-8 years
Medals and awards
Vintage 2017: 90/100 Wine Enthousiast
Pale yellow color, brilliant and limpid
On the nose, aromas of hazelnuts and walnuts, toast, reinette apple and already a very present minerality (flint).
On the palate, an aromatic complexity based on both roundness and liveliness, minerality and smoothness make it one of the greatest white wines of Burgundy.
